‘Nothing to celebrate about’ in La Salle win, says Teng
MANILA, Philippines – Sophomore star Jeron Teng kept a straight face as he walked out of the Mall of Asia court and into the press room for a post-game interview.
Teng was all business during and even after De La Salle edged Far Eastern University to earn a twice-to-beat advantage in their Final Four meeting Wednesday.

“It was a good game for us,” said the six-foot-three Teng Saturday night. “But we told ourselves there’s nothing to celebrate about. We have to beat them one more time to make the finals.”
LA Revilla’s hot hand led the Green Archers but Teng had his fingerprints all over his team’s 74-69 win with 13 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and two steals.

But like Teng, Archers head coach Juno Sauler knows that wins at this point shouldn’t call for any celebration, just a championship would.
“We don’t care about the streak,” said Sauler. “There’s still a lot of work to be done we know they (FEU) going to come back.”
