Tough SEA Games draw for Malditas

Landing in what is considered the tournament’s “Group of Death,” a tough climb awaits the Philippine Malditas in their quest for a women’s football medal in the Southeast Asian Games in Burma (Myanmar) next month.

The Malditas are in Group A along with defending champion Vietnam, Myanmar and Indonesia after the draw in Naypyidaw. Group B is made up of Thailand, Laos, Malaysia and Timor Leste.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals.
