Got Skills age group caging lures over 600 participants

THE INAUGURAL Got Skills Age Group Basketball Showdown reels off tomorrow with at least 40 teams in tow at Xavier School sports complex in San Juan.

Over 600 kids will compete in the event which will run for 10 weekends.  A total of 16 schools will be fielding teams in five age categories: 9-year-old, 10-year-old, 11-year-old, 12-year-old and 13-year-old levels.

La Salle Green Hills-Prada leads 12 teams participating in the premier 13-year-old category. Joining LSGH in Group A are Marist, San Beda-Taytay, Chiang Kai Shek, National University and La Salle-Zobel.

Bunched in Group B are La Salle Green Hills-Paya, Diliman Preparatory School, Colegio San Agustin, Don Bosco-Makati, Southeastern College and San Beda-Alabang in the event backed by  Chris Sports, SKLZ Equipment, Fitness and Athletics Company, Choi Garden Restaurant and Goody Gulp Milk Drink.
