Age-group taekwondo tourney postponed

THE PHILIPPINE Taekwondo Association has postponed the 2013 National Age Group Taekwondo Championships originally scheduled today and tomorrow at Rizal Coliseum.

The two-day event sponsored by Smart Communications Inc., MVP Sports Foundation, PLDT, TV5, Meralco and the Philippine Sports Commission will instead be held on Dec. 7 and 8, also at Rizal Coliseum.

The PTA had to reset the competition because the venue is being used as a relief operation center for victims supertyphoon “Yolanda.”
