MANILA, Philippines — Hog’s Breath Café had a sloppy start but still hammered out an 86-72 drubbing of Derulo Accelero in the PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup Tuesday at the Blue Eagle Gym.

Jose Rizal University hotshot Philip Paniamogan scored 24 points built on four triples and Letran forward Kevin Racal had 20 points for the Razorbacks, who stayed unbeaten at 7-0.

Hog’s Breath shot just four-of-20 from the field before getting into the flow of things as the game progressed.

“We shot poorly in the first quarter because we had a last-minute change in our starting five but the good thing about the players is that they never lost their focus on defense,” said Hog’s Breath coach Caloy Garcia.

The Razorbacks, who led by as much as 22, 76-54, late in the fourth period, played without their regular starters Francis Allerafoot injury) and Ali Austria (flu).

Raul Soyud had a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds while Jackson Corpuz scored 18 points and 14 rebounds for the Oilers, who dropped to 1-8.
