Barangay Ginebra tries to stay in second place today while adding to the woes of Barako Bull when they clash in the PLDT MyDSL Philippine Cup eliminations at Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.

After bouncing back from their first loss of the season with a win for the ages over defending champion Talk ‘N Text on Sunday, the Gin Kings are installed as the solid picks over the skidding Energy in the 8 p.m. game.

Barako Bull has lost its last three games, counting a lopsided one to cellar-dwelling Air21 even as Globalport guns for the first three-game winning streak of the franchise in the 5:45 p.m. contest against Alaska.

Alaska is one of two pre tournament favorites that is struggling, mired in the lower half of the standings with a 2-4 card.
