La Salle, Xavier triumph

MANILA, Philippines — La Salle-Green Hills-PAYA, Xavier School, San Beda-Taytay and Colegio San Agustin hacked out big wins in their respective categories Sunday in the 1st Got Skills Age Group Basketball Showdown at  Xavier School Sports Complex.

The LSGH Greenies scored a 67-43 demolition of Diliman Preparatory School; host Xavier School downed Colegio San Benildo-Recoletos, 65-36; while San Beda-Taytay bested School of St. Anthony, 42-26.

CSA, meanwhile, turned back Don Bosco Technical Institute, 25-21. Marist defeated Xavier,  35-33, in another game.
