MANILA, Philippines — La Salle could still do no wrong as it pummeled Ateneo, 25-14, 25-14, 25-19, Sunday and stayed unbeaten in eight games in the UAAP women’s volleyball tournament at Filoil Flying V Arena.

The rematch between last season’s finalists panned out much like their first meeting last week, where the Lady Archers dominated the entire time with their excellent floor coverage behind Abigail Maraño and Mika Reyes.

“We were just focused,” said Maraño, the two-time Most Valuable Player who fired all but one of her 10 points on attacks. “We were able to execute the plays.”
