‘Manny’ showcases Pacquiao’s journey from poverty to global fame

MANILA, Philippines—A documentary solely dedicated to, arguably, one of the greatest fighters of all time, Manny Pacquiao, would have its official world premiere at the 2014 SXSW Film Festival.

The official YouTube account of the movie, “Manny” released the full trailer of the documentary with a few jabs from key interviews, fights, soundbytes of Pacquiao and the movie’s narrator Liam Neeson.

“Manny” would showcase Pacquiao’s early struggles to his achievements in his 20 years of boxing.

FEATURED STORIES

The movie includes interviews from actor Mark Wahlberg, trainer Freddie Roach, Alex Ariza among others who has shaped the career, life and mythology surrounding the career of the eight-division world champion.
