MANILA, Philippines – Efficient mobility is what this Saturday’s eco-marathon event in Manila hopes to imbibe in its participating students who, after the race, may be given the opportunity to work for its organizer.
“When students join the Shell Eco-marathon, they have the same ideals like us on efficient mobility,” said Mark Gainsborough, executive vice president for Global Commercial Shell Friday.
Gainsborough said that some students who took part in the annual race, which began 10 years ago, have been absorbed by Shell.
The annual race is part of the centennial celebration of Shell in the country.
