Lim-Salvador scramble titlist

MANILA, Philippines — The Nelson Lim-Paul Salvador and Carlo Quimson-Joaquin Tolentino pairs won the kickoff legs of the Mizuno Scramble Tournament at Orchard Golf and Country Club and Valley Golf Club over the weekend.

Lim and Salvador combined for a 12-under-par 60 to win at Orchard’s Player course while Quimson and Tolentino pooled a 10-under-par 62 at Valley’s South course.

Other winners were Wilbert Young-Doy Ubaldo, Gino Ng-Nico Co, Jonathan Diokno-Chez Roque and Ramon Chan-Mike Abad, making them early finals qualifiers of the tournament backed by Volvo, Inquirer Golf, Fox Sports, Volvo and Citgo Lubricants.
