14th Elorde Awards to honor Donnie Nietes

MANILA, Philippines — Donnie Nietes, who defended his WBO lightflyweight title twice last year, will be one of four major honorees during the 14th Gabriel “Flash” Elorde Memorial Awards on March 25 at The Tent of Sofitel Hotel.

The 31-year-old from Negros Occidental will be joined by IBF light fly champion Johnriel Casimero, WBO minimumweight holder Merlito Sabillo and WBO Superbantamweight Nonito Donaire Jr. For inquiries, call 8250625.
