MANILA, Philippines — Filipino-American recording artist Jessica Sanchez will sing the Philippine national anthem during the rematch between Filipino ring legend Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley today, Sunday (Manila time).
It will be the American Idol runner up Sanchez’s third time to sing before a Pacquiao bout after singing the Lupang Hinirang during both fighters’ first encounter nearly two years ago and recently last November when Pacquiao beat Brandon Rios in Macau.
Grammy winner Ashanti on the other hand, will sing the US national anthem.
Fighter of the Decade Pacquiao looks to avenge a highly-controversial split decision loss to the unbeaten Bradley with the WBO welterweight belt on the line.
