MANILA, Philippines — Manny Pacquiao wants his championship back.

In an interview with Solar Sports, the People’s Champion said he is training really hard for his WBO welterweight showdown against Timothy Bradley on April 12 in Las Vegas.

“We’re focused on aggressiveness and the strategies we’re going to use,” said Pacquiao.

In a widely criticized split decision, Bradley beat Pacquiao in their first encounter in 2012.

After that controversial loss, Bradley has stated that Pacquiao has lost his aggressiveness and killer instinct.

That statement has apparently rekindled the fire for the eight-division world champion.

“I will bring that [killer instinct] back. He requested that and I will give it to him.”

Pacquiao promises to go on attack mode to take back what he feels is rightfully his.

“I want to win convincingly. The knockout will come, I don’t want to get careless.”

According to Pacquiao, he’s not looking past Bradley.

“I am not underestimating him. I just want to be 100 percent when I climb up the ring.

Pacquiao-Bradley 2 will be aired live on April 13 at  Solar All Access and via satellite on Solar Sports.

Solar Sports is on Sky Cable Channel 70, Destiny Cable Channel 35 and Cignal Channel  55.
