MANILA, Philippines — The little League Philippine Series will fire off April 20 with a total of 120 teams slugging it out in 13 different venues in Marikina City.
Philippine Sports Commissioner Jolly Gomez Tuesday said the winners in the Philippine Series would represent the country in the Asia-Pacific Regional Championships in Clark, Pampanga, in July.
According to Gomez, the Little League district administrator, the Philippine Series will be held in commemoration of the 75th year of Little League International.
“This will be a very big event for all the teams from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao,” said Gomez during the PSA Forum at Shakey’s Malate Tuesday.
