Pacquiao willing to fight Marquez for fifth time

MANILA, Philippines—The trilogy was not enough, and the knockout was not the conclusion.

In a video interview with ES News, eight-division World champion Manny Pacquiao said that he is willing to fight, for a fifth time, Juan Manuel Marquez after the “Dinamita” knocked the lights out of the Pacman in their last fight in December 2012.

“I’m willing to fight, but I have to finish this first,” Pacquiao said after the press conference of his second fight against Timothy Bradley.

Marquez previously said that he is willing to fight the winner of the Pacquiao-Bradley fight “for the title.”

In an interview with Boxing Socialist Top Rank boss Bob Arum said that he “would love” to do the fifth fight between the two boxing greats.

“Manny to fight Marquez again is very important,” said Arum. “I would love to do a Pacquiao-Marquez, Pacquiao has to win this fight (Bradley fight), Marquez will fight him, I’d give another fight.”
