Kaya rips Army
MANILA, Philippines –Kaya leaned on a strong second half to repulse Army-General Trias, 5-1, Tuesday night and extend its winning streak to five games in the United Football League at Emperador Stadium in Taguig City.
Pablo Rodriguez fired an early goal for Kaya but it wasn’t until the second half when coach David Perkovic’s wards hit top gear and went on to vault past Loyola Meralco for second and move within two points off leader Global which has a game in hand.
OJ Porteria scored and assisted on Thomas Taylor’s goal, while Christian Ayew and returning striker Emmanuel Mbata found the back of the net in a blistering second half.
