Miami Heat welcome Gilas Pilipinas

MANILA, Philippines–It’s a welcoming tweet from the Miami Heat.
With the Smart-Gilas Pilipinas arriving in South Beach, its hometown basketball team laid out the welcoming mat in social media to express its hospitality toward coach Chot Reyes and the Philippine national basketball team.
“Welcome to Miami @coachot and @smartgilasph! We hope your training camp for the 2014 Fiba Basketball World Cup is going well,” the official Heat Twitter account posted Tuesday early morning.
Surprised that the three-time National Basketball Association champions welcomed them in South Beach, Reyes invited the Heat to one of their sessions.
“@MiamiHEAT Yes it is! Thanks for the welcome. Hope you can drop by so we can visit,” Reyes said.
