PH e-Sports Organization hosts IESF Asian Championship
CEBU, Philippines–The Philippine e-Sports Organization (PeSO) will be hosting the Asian Championship for the International e-Sports Federation (IESF) World Championship 2014 at the SM City Cebu Tradehall this Friday and Saturday.
The event will gather six Asian countries and over 500 players from all over the Philippines. They will compete locally to qualify for the eSports World Championship in Baku, Azerbaijan on November 12 to 17.

Electronic Sports, better known as e-Sports, is a growing global culture and worldwide phenomenon. It is an athletic competition that showcases skill and talent without being limited to height, weight or age.
Over 50 Countries like South Korea, USA, Singapore, China, Japan, Germany, South Africa and many others have taken part in this cyber event and the Philippines, already recognized internationally for its cyber athletes, will be taking center stage in hosting international events.

The e-Sports Festival, now on its 3yrd year, is growing popularity among its participants and spectators. It is one of the biggest e-Sports events in terms of production and scale with players from all walks of life gathering to compete in “Defense of the Ancients 2” (DOTA), “Ultra Street Fighter 4”, “Tekken Tag Tournament 2”, and “Hearth Stone”.
But aside from these games, there will also be Costume Play (COSPLAY), RIG Competition (PC Equivalent to a car show), Strife Free play, Clash of Clans fan meet up, Sponsors exhibit and Photography competitions.
