Daniel Padilla may suit up in PBA D-League

MANILA, Philippines — Actor Daniel Padilla may suit up in the 2014 PBA D-League which opens this October.
School-based AMA Titans selected Padilla as the final pick in the PBA D-League.

Tournament director Eric Castro said Padilla is eligible to play in the fifth season of the D-League because he’s enrolled in AMA.

“Yes it’s legit. He’s eligible to play because he is a student of the school,” Castro confirmed.
AMA University is among the five new teams in the league.
The Titans own the rights to draft Padilla, who was the only pick in the 15th round.
