Kiefer, Thirdy Ravena join Selection vs Iverson five

Brothers Kiefer and Thirdy Ravena will team up with their fellow collegiate stars and former Philippine Basketball Association aces as they battle an Allen Iverson-coached Ball Up Streetball All Stars in PCWorx’s “All In” charity basketball event on Nov. 5 at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

Kiefer Ravena, the UAAP Season 77 MVP, and Thirdy will play alongside former PBA stalwarts Jerry Codiñera, Marlou Aquino, Renren Ritualo and Willie Miller in the game organized by i-Kurot Co. Inc., the marketing arm and subsidiary of PCWorx, which aims to raise funds for the construction of 44 houses— equivalent to two communities at Gawad Kalinga Bulaklakan Chapter in Barangay Holy Spirit in Quezon City.

Also on the Selection roster are La Salle’s Almond Vosotros, Far Eastern University’s Mark Belo, National University’s Jeth Rosario, San Beda’s Javee Mocon and Ola Adeogun and San Sebastian’s Jaymar Perez.

The Selection, to be handled by Grand Slam-winning coach Tim Cone, will be backstopped by former NBA stars Dermarr Johnson and Eddy Curry.

“Looking at the Selection, we already have an all-star lineup, all of whom are throwing their full support behind the charity event,” PCWorx managing director Michael Chua said.

Iverson, himself a former NBA MVP, will showcase his coaching skills with the Ball Up Streetball All Stars that include Grayson “The Professor” Boucher, Larry “Bone Collector” Williams, Taurian “Air Up There” Fontanette, Gary “G-Smith” Smith, Aaron “AO” Owens, Anthony “Mr. Afrika” Pimble and Ryan “Special FX” Williams.

Tickets to the game are pegged at P6,500 (VIP), P5,500 (patron), P4,000 (lower box), P3,000 (upper box) and P600 (general admission).
