Babolat signs Filipino tennis prodigy
MANILA, Philippines—A promising tennis prodigy has been put under the wings of one of the elite sporting brands.
Babolat, an international brand of racquets, signed 11-year-old Miko Eala to a contract under Babolat Asia Pacific.
Article continues after this advertisementEala ruled the competition in the Colorado and New York legs of the 2013 Little Mo International Tennis Grand Slam Championships and clinched silver in the Florida leg.
With the contract, Eala joins the class of tennis elite that Babolat supports.
Multi-Grand Slam Winner Rafael Nadal, Jo Wilfried Tsonga, Li Na, Genie Bouchard, Caroline Wozniacki all sport the Babolat brand in the grass and clay courts of tennis.
