Well-known cockers and breeders clash starting at 1 p.m. today in the annual Muroy 4-Stag Derby at Pasay City Cockpit.
Last year’s co-champions “Jade Red” of Arman Santos, “Sta. Maria SR Pedro” of Raymund Burgos and “CJ Kamagong” of Eric Richard head the list of favorites in the derby backed by Sagupaan Complexor 3000.
The derby champion will receive at least P400,000.
Up next at PCC is the three-stag qualifying round of the BM Skylarks 6-Stag Derby on Monday.
A P2-million guaranteed prize and a brand-new Nissan Navarra will go to the fastest-win champion. Entry fee is P7,700.
The derby’s finals is on Nov. 16 at Biñan Cockpit Arena in Laguna.
