Diputado fired 29 points on 9-of-18 shooting and issued six assists to lead the Red Cubs to their second straight win in Group D and into the crossover quarterfinals set Saturday.
The NU Bullpups exploded for 28 points in the third period on the way to scoring a 78-68 win over the defending champion San Sebastian Staglets to remain in contention for a quarterfinal berth in Group A.
