Algieri slips to the mat in round 2

MANILA, Philippines—Manny Pacquiao continued to put pressure on Chris Algieri managing to land a couple of shots to the mug of the undefeated American early in the second round.

Algieri slipped and fell but immediately recovered from his knockdown with Pacquiao, waiting for him for another attack.

Pacquiao landed a massive right hook that rocked Algieri and the Filipino easily evaded Algieri’s punches.

Towards the end of the round, Algieri continued to backpedal with Pacquiao continuing his attack.
