Pacquiao puts Algieri on the defensive in the third

MANILA, Philippines–Manny Pacquiao had the offensive battery charged in him while Chris Algieri looked to retreat back defensively at the start of the third round.

Algieri landed a jab but Pacquiao countered with a left uppercut as the champion continued to pounce on the wary Algieri.

Pacquiao then landed a three-punch combo that put Algieri to the ropes but the New Yorker managed to bring the game back to the middle of the ring.
