Galang powers La Salle
La Salle skipper Ara Galang sustained her scoring splurge as La Salle downed University of Santo Tomas in straight sets, 25-23, 27-25, 25-17, yesterday and stayed unbeaten in three games in the UAAP women’s volleyball tournament at Filoil Flying V Arena.
Galang fired 21 points while Cyd Demecillo chipped in 15 to lift the Lady Spikers on top together with defending champion Ateneo.
In the other match, Adamson walloped University of the East, 25-9, 25-15, 25-17.

Galang has amassed 63 points to lead the league in scoring.
The Tigresses slipped to 1-1, while the Lady Warriors dropped their second straight assignment.
