PBA legend Samboy Lim out of ICU

MANILA, Philippines–Philippine basketball icon Samboy “Skywalker” Lim was out of intensive care Saturday evening.

In a tweet, sports columnist Quinito Henson said that Lim was out of the intensive care unit of THE Medical City.

“Samboy Lim now out of ICU and in intermediate care unit, still (in) coma,” Henson said.

He added that Lim’s organs are “stable, trache in throat to expel mucus but breathing on his own.”

Lim collapsed during an exhibition game between fellow PBA legends on November 28 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
