MANILA, Philippines—It looks like this super fight is a once-in-a-lifetime deal.

Stephen Espinoza, executive vice president of Showtime Sports, told RingTV that the bout between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a “one fight deal.”

Mayweather announced on social media on Saturday morning that his fight against Pacquiao is a go and is expected to become the most expensive boxing match in history.

Espinoza said in the report that there is a “no rematch” clause in the contract.

HBO Sports president Ken Hershman, however, said in the same report that a rematch is plausible although it would take another contract altogether.

Hershman told RingTV to call him on May 3, a day after the mega fight, if a rematch is possible.

“If it’s something the fans and fighters want, we’ll make it happen,” Hershman said.

A fight of this magnitude and this grand will be held at the Sin City inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Not only bragging rights to finally see who is the best pound-for-pound boxer are on the line, but also four title belts.

Mayweather’s RING, WBA and WBC welterweight belts and Pacquiao’s WBO are on the line for their fight which would be fought at a catchweight of 147 lbs.
