MANILA, Philippines–Why use somebody else’s song when you can record your own? Right?
Well Manny Pacquiao did just that for his fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 3 (Manila time).
In a GMA7 report, Pacquiao made some time during his training to record “Lalaban Ako Para sa Pilipino.”
Old friend Lito Camo composed the song and said that the song is not just about boxing but it also sends a message that obstacles in life should serve as an inspiration.
Although he said in January that he would stop singing, Pacquiao is an eight-division World Champion and he can do anything as he pleases.
Your move, Floyd.
