Globalport’s Romeo claims PBA 3-point shootout crown

PUERTO, PRINCESA, Philippines—Globalport scoring sensation Terrence Romeo caught fire late and finished with 18 points to bring home the three-point shootout title in the 2015 PBA All-Star Game.
After a slow start in the final round, the 22-year-old Romeo started connecting on his shots by the fourth rack to finish strong and best veterans James Yap of Purefoods and JC Intal of Barako Bull.
Article continues after this advertisement“Five-peat” champion Mark Macapagal ended his reign in the competition after falling short in the first round with just 16 points even as Yap, Romeo, and Intal tallied 18 each.
