Pacquiao suffers cramps during jogging—report

MANILA, Philippines — Manny Pacquiao reportedly suffered cramps while jogging along Griffith Park in Los Angeles on Tuesday (Manila time).

Pacquiao is in his crucial weeks of training for his upcoming megafight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

“Nag-ano lang yung muscle dahil nabigla sa paakyat,” Pacquiao said in an interview with 24 Oras. “Pinuwersa kaagad eh.”

Pacquiao had been bothered by leg cramps in the past during fights. He suffered cramps during his rematch with Timothy Bradley in 2014 but it has not been a problem for him since.

Against the caliber of the undefeated Mayweather, Pacquiao can’t afford to have the same kind of problem especially during the fight, which will be the biggest bout the two boxing titans will be in.
