Manalo, Millet rivalry resumes

FORMER national champion Martin Manalo and Arvin Jay Millet resume their chase for the premier title today in the third leg of the National Drag Racing Championship Southern Series at Batangas Racing Circuit in Rosario, Batangas.

Manalo, who ruled the kickoff leg, is the current points leader and has runner-up finishes in both Quick 8 and M&H Pro classes while second leg winner Millet failed to make it to the podium in the first round.  Defending champion Jonathan Tiu has is winless so far.

Sheldon Chua seeks a repeat of his Quick 8 win and Chris Jayson Millet seeks another Expert title victory.

Also installed as favorites are Victor Pe Benito in the Sportsman class and Cer Olliris Alcala in the Hotstreet division.
