Dindin sees improvement in sister Jaja after first game as opponents
ONCE a sister, always a sister.
That’s what Dindin Santiago-Manabat lives by when it comes to younger sister Jaja Santiago.
Dindin said that her sister has improved from just a towering 6-foot-4 middle blocker to a refined volleyball player.

She’s a veteran,” Dindin said after her Army team lost to Jaja’s PLDT 25-16, 25-23, 28-26, in the Shakey’s V-League Sunday afternoon at the Arena in San Juan. “When I played against her, I’m happy because her game was OK.”
Dindin added that she and her sister barely talked during the match as Jaja treated her as an opponent.
“When she’s playing against you, she’s playing against you. She wouldn’t look at me in the eye,” Dindin said.

They didn’t talk much even when Dindin blocked her sister’s shot to tie in the third set at 18-18 which saw her older sister just turned her back.
She added that she has not played against Jaja even as children.
“We fight but we don’t play against each other.” AC
