Filipino skater Martinez bags gold in Triglav competition
FILIPINO skater Michael Martinez has won gold in the Triglav Trophy International Figure Skating Competition in Jesenice, Slovenia.
Martinez bagged the gold in free skating and fifth in the short program to gain a score of 181.84 points and bested his six competitors last Sunday.
“Thank you for your support and prayers,” the 18-year old Olympic skater posted on his Facebook.

In 2014, Martinez, who ranked 33rd in the world, also bagged gold in the same tournament.
