Top Rank Promotions has released a picture on Monday showing Filipino people’s champ Manny Pacquiao wearing a sling around his injured right shoulder.
The picture, which appeared on Top Rank’s official Twitter page, shows Pacquiao smiling while nursing the injury which he reportedly suffered during an intense sparring session three weeks ago.

The tweet said: “@MannyPacquiao today in his hotel room. He injured his right shoulder sparring in training camp. It hasn’t healed.”
An MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scan revealed that he had a tear on the shoulder.
The Filipino boxer said that he could not use his right hand “100 percent” during the fight with Mayweather.
Two hours before the fight, Pacquiao’s camp requested the Nevada Athletic Commission to allow him to inject painkillers but it was denied because it was already too close to the fight.
Despite the injury, Pacquiao fought the undefeated American fighter saying “he doesn’t want to make alibis.”
Mayweather won through unanimous decision and kept his professional boxing record unblemished.
