No more Purefoods, just Star Hotshots

While there still exists a Purefoods franchise in the PBA, it will no longer bear the classic name.
After calling itself Purefoods Star Hotshots for the PBA Philippine and Commissioner’s Cups, the franchise dropped the “Purefoods” name and just went with Star Hotshots.

The franchise also did away with the original blue colors replaced it with a shining ensemble of red and yellow.
The Hotshots’ light jerseys are white and with red trim while their dark jerseys feature a vibrant yellow base and red trim.
There have been six name changes in the franchise since 2010.
