The Beermen, meanwhile, scored a 100-85 ripping of Barangay Ginebra. Those victories put the powerhouse Elasto Painters and Gin Kings at 1-4 and in danger of elimination.

Alexander has been an entertaining sight to watch, but the Road Warriors have struggled. But with Michael Madanly again nearing top form, NLEX could come out as a better team today.
Cyrus Baguio, Dondon Hontiveros, Sonny Thoss, Calvin Abueva and JV Casio form the local nucleus of Alaska, possibly the most disciplined team in the field.
