LOYOLA Meralco tries to keep its flickering title hopes alive against a struggling Kaya side tonight in the United Football League at Rizal Memorial Stadium.

The Sparks split their first two games to start the second round, leaving them eight points behind leader Ceres-La Salle.

But with Phil Younghusband rediscovering his scoring touch, the Sparks are gunning for maximum points in the 7:45 p.m. match.

Kaya suffered a shock 0-2 loss to Green Archers last Wednesday in coach Fabian Lewis’ first match in charge. Like Loyola, Kaya, which has 19 points from 10 matches, is also hard-pressed to pick up maximum points and stay in the title race.
