Donaire battles European champ in Macau on July 18
Nonito Donaire Jr. tests with former French and European Union super bantamweight champion Anthony Settoul in a non-title fight on July 18 at The Venetian in Macau.
The five-division champion, who scored a second-round KO win over William Prado of Brazil last March at Araneta Coliseum, hopes to inch closer to a title fight in the 122-pound division that he dominated for three years.
Now with 34 wins, three losses with 22 knockouts, the 32-year-old Donaire will face Settoul (20-3 with 8 KOs), who has won six of his nine previous fights via stoppage.

But his reign in the 126-lb division didn’t last long as he lost to Nicholas Walters of Jamaica via a devastating sixth-round knockout at StubHub Center in Carson, California.
Donaire is looking at a shot at WBA super bantamweight Scott Quigg who will face Kiko Martinez in the same card.
