Crack prov’l bets vying in Superliga

PLAYERS from the provinces are out to give their Big City counterparts a run for their money in the PLDT Home Ultera-Philippine Superliga Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup 2015 powered by Smart Live More which starts this Saturday at MOA SM By the Bay.

Fresh from an impressive run in the 16th Asian Volleyball Confederation beach tour Samila Open in Songkhla, Thailand, Jade Becaldo of Cebu City will be a player to watch when she teams up with Hachaliah Gilbuena of Tagum City for SM By the Bay Team A.

Becaldo, of University of Visayas, landed in the top 10 in Thailand with partner Edward Ybanez of Univesity of Southern Philippines.

Also expected to shine in the tourney are fellow regional entries Fiola Mae Ceballos of Central Philippine University, Cindy Benitez of University of Cordilleras and Florence Madulid of University of Baguio.
