Floyd Mayweather Jr. has begun his training camp for his September fight against a still unknown fighter.
His father, however, wants the pound-for-pound king to retire early instead of fighting “easy” opponents.

“Floyd told me he just wants to get a couple of easy fights,” Mayweather Sr. told MLIve.com “My honest opinion, if he feels that way, he should get on out of the game.”
Possible opponents for Mayweather Jr.’s last fight have reportedly come down to either Amir Khan or Andre Berto.

Mayweather Sr. also fears the sports’ politics may come into play in influencing his son’s career.
“If he don’t stop, it’s showing — the analysts, everybody, they don’t like Floyd. When it goes like this, it’s just a matter of time. They’re looking for the next guy,” Mayweather Sr. told MLive.com. CFC
