Eye infection sidelines Ateneo’s Ella De Jesus
The injuries keep coming for Ateneo in the Shakey’s V-League.
After watching rookie Kat Tolentino suffer a knee injury, the Lady Eagles saw their diminutive hitter Ella De Jesus sit on the bench due to an eye infection.

“It was bleeding this morning but it’s nothing serious,” De Jesus said Sunday at San Juan Arena. “I will be out for three to four days. It hurts so bad”
De Jesus joined Tolentino, Mae Tajima, and Jia Morado on the injured list of Ateneo forcing Alyssa Valdez to suit up for one set.

Despite the having an ailing roster, Ateneo needed only three sets to dispose of San Sebastian to start the tournament at 2-0.
