PSL beach volley: Cainglet-Micek eliminate Cruz-Laborte

Petron Sprint 4T kept its quarterfinals hope alive as it blurred out Cignal, 22-20, 21-15, in its Group D match in the Philippine Super Liga Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup Saturday at SM By the Bay.

With the win, Sprint 4T notched a 1-1 win-loss record while the HD Spikers fell to a 0-2 hole, slashing their shot at the quarterfinals.

Petron’s duo of Fille Cainglet-Cayetano and Alexa Micek had to weather the first-set storm of Cha Cruz and Micmic Laborte, fortunately for the Sprint 4T, an error from the HD Spikers gave them the starting set.
