National University dealt UAAP rival Far Eastern University its first loss following a 25-23, 26-24, 25-19 win in the Shakey’s V-League Season 12 Collegiate Conference Saturday at Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Three Lady Bulldogs scored in double digits led by guest player and former team captain Dindin Santiago-Manabat’s 15 points.

Myla Pablo added 13 points off 10 spikes, two blocks and a service ace and Jaja Santiago chipped in 10 KILLS for NU.

The two teams have wrapped up their campaign in the preliminary round and have found themselves currently tied in first place in Group A standings with a 4-1 record.

Remy Joy Palma had 10 points while Bernadeth Pons and guest player Jovelyn Gonzaga posted meager seven points apiece for the Lady Tamaraws, whose four-game winning streak was snapped after a disappointing effort. IDL
