Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry will visit Manila for the first time on September 5 as part of the reigning NBA MVP’s Asian Tour.

The Inquirer in June first reported Curry’s planned trip to this basketball-crazed country before the Global sports brand Under Armour made the offical announcement on Wednesday.

“Under Armour is proud to announce that we will bring 2015 NBA Champion and the 2015th Season’s Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry to the Philippines on September 5, 2015,” said UA, which has emerged as one of the most popular sports brand, in a statement.

“The tour, dubbed ‘The UA Roadshow featuring Stephen Curry,’ is designed to connect Stephen with the people and culture of these diverse countries through up and close personal interactions. Stephen will showcase his relentless dedication to getting better and devotion to helping players everywhere realize their potential both on and off the court.”

The 27-year-old Curry led the Warriors to its first NBA championship in 40 years after topping LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in six games last June.

Curry will also make stops in Tokyo (September 4), Beijing (September 6), Chongqing (September 7) and Shanghai (September 8). CFC
