EAC, UP try to boost Spikers’ Turf Last 4 bid

Finding itself in an unfamiliar situation, Emilio Aguinaldo College vies to stay in the semifinal hunt in the Spikers’ Turf Collegiate Conference Monday at Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

The NCAA champion Generals battle a University of the Philippines side also fighting for survival in the crucial 1 p.m. match where the winner gains solo fifth spot.

Although still out of the top four, the winning team will inch closer behind La Salle and National College of Business and Arts, both tied at 2-2.

The Green Archers clash with tailender Far Eastern University at 3 p.m., while the Wildcats take on a tougher opponent in UAAP champion Ateneo at 5 p.m.
