Not even injuries can stop Earl Scottie Thompson from dishing out another big game for Perpetual Help.
The reigning Most Valuable Player sparkled despite a hurting ankle and a back injury as he powered the Altas to an 86-83 overtime win over the Jose Rizal U Bombers last Tuesday at the close of the first round of NCAA Season 91 at Filoil Flying V Arena.

Thompson ended up as the highest pick among players from the NCAA in yesterday’s PBA Draft after he was selected fifth overall by Barangay Ginebra in the first round yesterday.
Thompson’s performance also earned him the Accel Quantum 3XVI-NCAA Press Corps Player of the Week award.
