Ginebra sends Urbiztondo, Monfort, Knuttel to Barako Bull
Ginebra sent guards Josh Urbiztondo, Emman Monfort, Jens Knuttel to Barako Bull in a trade approved by the PBA Commissioner’s Office on Tuesday.
In exchange, the Gin Kings acquired seldom-used forward Nico Salva and a 2016 first rounder from the Energy.
San Miguel, then, swapped playmakers shortly after and sent Jeric Fortuna back to Barako Bull for Brian Heruela.
The trade reunites Heruela with former UC Webmaster teammate June Mar Fajardo in the Beermen fort.
It also gave Barako Bull a deeper guard rotation, where the four will be battling for minutes with Chico Lanete and RR Garcia still in tow.
