Adamson, UST gain Shakey’s GVL Final 4

ADAMSON U sustained its top form and waylaid Escuela De Sophia of Caloocan while University of Santo Tomas dealt former champion Hope Christian High School another loss as they took the top two spots in Pool B of the Shakey’s Girls’ Volleyball League Season 13 NCR leg at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City last Tuesday.

The Baby Falcons subdued EDS, 25-22, 25-12, while the Baby Tigresses routed Hope Christian, 25-11, 25-12, to advance to the Final Four stage.

Hope slid to 1-2 and bowed out of the semifinal race along with EDS (1-3) and Academy of God’s Children, winless in three starts.
